We opened the Dorcas Refugee Center

The Dorkász wants to help for the refugees of the Russian-Ukrain War with donations and accomodation. In the last few weeks everybody was working very hard to grant a safe haven for the arriving refugees. By the date of March 23, we could open the Host Centre! We are very thankful for the loads of donations and help we have received in the last month! The help of the volunteers and the donations all contributed to the opening of the Host Centre in less than a month. We would like to emphasize the role of the Christian Pharus Fund, offering the costs of the Camp’s upkeeping for the next 6 months and covering the most impontant renovation projets in the Camp. We have 6 families in the Host Centre at this moment, which means that we could already grant a safe haven for 19 people. We would like to extend this number since we have more rooms for the refugees. Part of the refugees got to work here, in the Camp, as repairer, receptionist and cleaning lady, helping them to be able to fend for themselves later in Hungary.
